In the ancient world, Humans were able to make a lot of decisions based on the movement of birds , animals and other natural means like wind movement, moon, etc using the knowledge they possessed. As the human race speeds up, we are slowly getting time constraint which makes us move our knowledge into a super computer and let them make the decision.

Also before the internet era ( Industry 3.0 ), most decisions were taken locally. As more and more globalization, we want everything to be centralized and propagated across.

Sensors are slowly taking the place of birds and animals (which are slowly getting extinct). AI and stored knowledge replacing human brains to make decisions.

This makes the internet of things & AI more Important in the years to come..
